About this collection

You do not need to be a Buddhist to join us. Our weekly 15-minute Friday sessions are designed for those with busy lives, providing a quick way to steady the mind before the weekend. If you are looking for more depth, our intensive weekend workshops and structured courses on Lamrim offer systematic guidance on how to manage emotions and develop consistent concentration, with options to join from our Domlur centre or via Zoom.

How We Practice

We bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and modern living. Whether you visit our center in Domlur to sit on a traditional Zafu cushion or join via Zoom from your home, the practice remains the same.

Core Meditation Styles

Our guidance focuses on two primary Tibetan Buddhist methods:

  • Shamatha (Calm Abiding): Techniques to settle the mind, reduce distraction, and build focus.
  • Vipassana (Analytical Meditation): Methods to understand the nature of our thoughts and emotions, helping us navigate daily challenges with greater clarity.

Specialized Sessions

Beyond our foundational classes, we regularly host specific practices such as Medicine Buddha for healing, and Tonglen for cultivating compassion. These sessions are often coupled with group discussions where you can ask questions about your practice and share experiences with the Sangha (community).

Our Community Commitment

CKSL is a non-profit organization supported by donations. We believe that spiritual education should be accessible, so we operate on a model where nobody is turned away due to financial constraints. If you are looking for a space to genuinely practice mindfulness without the pressure of formalities, you are welcome here exactly as you are.
