Find Your Peace in Nature: Yoga Retreats
Forget the city chaos. I host small, quiet retreats in farmstays near Mulshi and Nashik, focusing on forest therapy, slow movement, and getting back to earth.
Sometimes you just need to find a quiet spot, put your feet up, and look at the sky. This was a moment of pause at Mulshi, just soaking in the monsoon clouds over the lake. This is the whole point, finding these moments of peace.
This is the Ninh Binh river in Vietnam, a place that taught me the power of just witnessing. On my retreats, we find similar quiet spots to just be, to let the beauty of the world stun us into silence and make us feel something real.
Standing by a powerful waterfall reminds you of nature's scale and your place in it. It’s humbling and invigorating. I encourage everyone to find these moments to connect with the elements, whether it's water, earth, or the open sky.
The view from a train window, watching the world rush by. Travel and nature are my biggest teachers. The green hills and open skies are a reminder that there's a huge, beautiful world out there waiting for us to explore.
"Maybe the answer is in slowing down." This was taken during a quiet boat ride in Vietnam. It’s a philosophy I bring to every retreat. We slow down our pace to match the rhythm of nature, and in that quiet, we often find clarity.
There's a simple, powerful practice called 'earthing' which is just walking barefoot on the grass. It helps you feel grounded and connected to the earth. It’s something we do often, a small act that makes a big difference.
Traveling helps me live in the present moment, and that's what I try to share. Being on a boat, surrounded by green mountains, you can't help but be right here, right now. This is the space where we learn and grow the most.
This is my mood when the weather gets crisp. Finding a quiet corner in a garden, surrounded by green, just sitting. My retreats are full of opportunities for this kind of quiet contemplation and personal downtime.
The magic of Hoi An at night, with lanterns lighting up the water. Being in a beautiful place, surrounded by the energy of fellow travelers, reminds me of the deep connections we can make when we step out of our routine.
A quiet, rocky stream at dusk. These are the places we seek out for quiet reflection. The stillness of the water and the vastness of the landscape help to quiet the mind.
About Connect with Nature
We stay at rustic farmstays in Mulshi and Nashik that trade hotel luxuries for quiet, earthen vibes. You won’t find TVs or room service here, just mud walls, stone floors, and plenty of space to finally unplug from the city noise and get some head space.
My retreats are not a holiday in the traditional sense. There is no pool service or fancy menu. Instead, we embrace simplicity. The farmstays are designed for a digital detox, meaning limited Wi-Fi and zero distraction.
The Daily Rhythm
- Morning & Evening: We practice Hatha yoga and pranayama. It is gentle, steady, and tailored to where your body is at that moment.
- Forest Therapy: We walk, we sit by streams, and we just exist. If it is monsoon season, we go out and enjoy the baarish. It is about witnessing nature, not conquering it.
- Satvik Fuel: All meals are vegetarian, home-cooked, and local. Think Pithla Bhakri and simple soul food. No alcohol allowed.
This is a 3-day reset. You show up Friday at 12 PM, we do the work, we find the calm, and you leave Sunday at 11 AM a little lighter than you arrived. Whether you need a place to cry, to sleep, or just to be still, this is where it happens.
