My Training Philosophy: Jidd Aur Mehnat
Fitness is a fight, and I don't give you shortcuts. I give you results. This is my 'Jidd Aur Mehnat' approach to building fighters, not just bodies.
My name is Vijay, and I started my journey 18 years ago. For me, training is a way of life. This is a glimpse into the discipline and intensity I bring to every session, whether it's boxing, lifting, or conditioning.
Hear directly from a client about her experience with my boxing training. After three months, she talks about increased strength, better mind-muscle connection, and a huge boost in confidence, all while losing inches without strict dieting.
This is what a heavy deadlift day looks like. It’s not just about lifting weight; it’s about building the core strength that supports you in everything you do. Keep your eyes on the goal, always.
A look at a high-energy group session. We use a mix of kettlebells, dumbbells, and box jumps to build functional strength and endurance. Training together pushes everyone to be better.
We all have fears, but we also have the choice to fight back. I use boxing to help my clients build strength, command respect, and face their challenges head-on, both inside and outside the gym.
This is the Olympic clean and squat, a technical lift that builds full-body explosive power. Mastering movements like this is about discipline, consistency, and pushing past your limits to become stronger than yesterday.
Sometimes, training is raw and unconventional. Using a sledgehammer and tire builds explosive power and conditioning in a way that machines can't replicate. I may have lost a battle, but I haven't left the field.
Mobility is the foundation of strength and injury prevention. Here are some essential drills like the World's Greatest Stretch, 90/90s, and Inchworms that we do to prepare the body for an intense workout.
About Featured
I don't sell 30-day miracle plans. My sessions start with non-negotiable mobility work, not because it is fancy, but because you cannot build strength on an injured foundation. If you aren't ready to sweat through the basics before hitting the heavy iron, this isn't the place for you.
Being 'jiddi' (stubborn) is a requirement, not a suggestion. Whether you are coming to me for boxing, HIIT, or Olympic lifting, my goal is the same: to get you strong enough to handle life outside the gym.
The Foundation
Everything starts with mobility. Before we touch a barbell or throw a punch, we mobilize the joints. I use drills like the World's Greatest Stretch and 90/90s to ensure your body is ready to work. If you skip this, you skip progress. I am an NIS Patiala-certified coach, and I take your technique seriously. Whether you are in Chandigarh, Mohali, or Panchkula, the standard remains the same.
My Training Style
- Boxing & Kickboxing: It is not just about cardio. It is about confidence, mind-muscle connection, and learning to defend yourself.
- Strength & Power: We master the big lifts. Deadlifts, squats, and overhead presses form the bedrock. We then move into explosive Olympic lifting techniques like the clean and snatch to build real, functional power.
- HIIT & Conditioning: When we need to burn fat and boost endurance, we use CrossFit-style WODs, kettlebells, and bodyweight circuits. No machine-only workouts here.
What You Can Expect
I do not coddle my clients. You will get raw, honest coaching. I monitor your progress, correct your form in real-time, and hold you accountable for the work. I train in commercial gyms in Mohali and Chandigarh, and I also provide at-home training where I bring the equipment to your doorstep. If you are ready to put in the hours, I am ready to guide you.
