Yogic Cleansing and Kriya Therapy
Real purification isn’t a spa treatment; it’s an ancient practice to reset your system. We teach Jal Neti, Sutra Neti, and Kunjal Kriya under careful supervision to remove deep-seated toxins.
A look at our students practicing both Jal Neti (nasal cleansing with water) and Sutra Neti (with a thread). These kriyas are essential for clearing the nasal passages, preventing sinus issues, and are a core part of our 300-hour Teacher Training Course.
This is Chakshu Dhauti, an Ayurvedic eye cleansing technique. Using a sterile eye cup with rosewater, we wash away impurities, refresh the eyes, and reduce strain. This practice is beneficial for improving vision and can help with headaches and sleep disorders.
Kunjal Kriya, or therapeutic vomiting, is a simple yet effective way to remove excess mucus, heat, and toxins from the upper digestive tract. I guide you through the process of drinking salt water and expelling it to cleanse the system and prevent many diseases.
About this collection
These kriyas work, but they are not experiments you should try at home after watching a video. If you suffer from chronic sinus congestion, persistent acidity, or feel heavy from the inside, come to the studio. We teach the specific, precise techniques so you do not irritate your nasal passages or throat. It is about cleansing with discipline, not rushing with force.
Shatkriyas—or the six cleansing techniques—are the foundation of Hatha Yoga. Most people treat yoga as just stretching, but if your internal pipes are clogged with mucus, toxins, or excess heat, the asanas will not provide full relief.
Why We Practice Kriyas
We do not perform these for show. We perform them to remove the blockages that cause disease.
- Jal and Sutra Neti: If you live in Bangalore, the dust and pollution are constant. Neti cleanses the nasal passage, helping with allergies, sinus pain, and headaches.
- Kunjal Kriya: This is a therapeutic cleansing of the digestive tract. It is remarkably effective for people who struggle with acidity, ulcers, or heavy mucus. I guide you through the process of consuming saline water and expelling it, which resets your stomach lining.
- Chakshu Dhauti: Modern life is spent staring at screens. This ancient method of eye washing with rosewater reduces strain and improves vision by clearing out the impurities that accumulate throughout the day.
The Bodhi Approach
Whether you visit our studios in Indiranagar, HSR Layout, or AECS Layout, you will find that we prioritize safety. You are not a number here. I will personally ensure the water temperature, the salt ratios, and the technique are correct for your body type.
Healing is your right, but it requires effort. If you are tired of recurring health issues and are ready to stop looking for pills, start with the basics. Come to the studio, learn the technique once, and you have a tool for life. Om Namah Shivaya.
