Guru's Wisdom: Finding Purpose and Peace in Modern Life
I spent 20 years in high-pressure boardrooms before realizing true success has nothing to do with a bank balance. These sessions are where I share the teachings that changed my life, helping you cut through the noise and find your own path.
To achieve anything great, you must first reprogram your mind away from the negativity we have been fed since birth. I teach the power of self-affirmation. Speaking, writing, and watching positive things is the first step to loving yourself and unlocking your potential.
Why do we lose our peace? It is because we are affected by what others say or think about us. I explain the principle of Aparigraha, or non-attachment. Learning to stay neutral to both praise and criticism is the key to experiencing tremendous bliss.
The biggest disease in human life is not cancer or AIDS; it is comparison. Each person on this planet is unique, with a unique purpose. I teach you to stop comparing yourself to others and instead find your own path to success. You are unique and can achieve anything.
We often connect happiness to a future event, but this is a mistake. Happiness is a state of mind, available only in the present moment. I explain how my guru taught me that developing the habit of being present is the only way to find permanent happiness.
A student asked why I left my corporate profession for yoga. The answer is Sudarshan Kriya, a profound breathing technique that elevated my consciousness. It was a higher calling, and I am forever grateful to my guru, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji, for bringing this practice into my life.
Many people say they have no time for their health, yet they have hours for Instagram and YouTube. This is not an issue of time; it is an issue of priorities and mental maturity. If you are stressed and unhealthy, you are in a danger zone, and it is time to address the psychological blocks that prevent you from caring for yourself.
I believe in the power of affirmation. When I first came to Hyderabad, I had nothing. Today, I run a premium yoga school and provide for many families. I teach you to change your life by repeatedly telling yourself, "I am lucky."
About this collection
Real change doesn't happen by reading quotes; it happens when you actively reprogram the mental patterns you have been conditioned with since childhood. In these sessions, we move past theory and look at practical habits—like managing your silence, choosing your reactions to criticism, and stopping the cycle of comparison—that keep you trapped in a cycle of stress.
Moving Beyond Survival
Most people operate on autopilot, reacting to stress, insults, and professional pressure with the same conditioned responses they’ve had for years. My approach in this cluster is not to give you a lecture, but to hold up a mirror. We explore why you lose your peace, where your stress actually originates, and how to reclaim your mental space.
The Teachings We Explore:
- The Disease of Comparison: We look at how societal pressure from parents, teachers, and social media creates a false sense of inadequacy. We work on the principle of uniqueness—understanding that your path, like your thumbprint, is yours alone.
- Aparigraha (Non-Attachment): You learn how to neutralize your reactions. Whether someone praises you or insults you, you are the one who gives those words power. I teach you how to remain unaffected and find bliss in that neutrality.
- The Power of Silence: We discuss the practical, daily habit of keeping your mouth shut for at least an hour. It sounds simple, but it is the fastest way to stop the 99% of problems we create for ourselves through unnecessary talk.
- Reprogramming the Mind: We talk about the mechanics of self-affirmation. You cannot change your life if your subconscious is still programmed for negativity. We examine how to shift your internal dialogue so your actions align with your goals.
Why This Matters
I was a general manager at Tata Docomo. I know what it is like to chase the next promotion and feel empty. This work is not for people looking for a quick fix or a motivational high; it is for those who are ready to do the hard work of looking inward, taking responsibility for their mental health, and choosing to live with purpose rather than just existing.
Bodhi School of Yoga
I left a corporate career that looked perfect on paper because I realized I was just running in circles. Now, I dedicate my life to sharing the practical, often uncomfortable truths that helped me find happiness. If you are tired of empty advice and want a direct path to mental clarity, I am here to help you get there.
