A look into Day 1 of our 2023 Goa yoga retreat. We start by setting up our space overlooking the sea, take silent, mindful walks on the beach, and create a welcoming circle where everyone feels like they belong.
Finding my own moment of peace on the sandy banks of the Ganga in Rishikesh. Practicing yoga outdoors, with the elements as our guide, is a core part of my philosophy and what I share in my retreats.

About Yoga Retreats in Nature
You will not find sterile studio walls here. In my Goa retreats, we swap mirrors for the ocean view and artificial air for the sea breeze, giving you a chance to truly reset. It is just you, the mat, and the salt air, with me there to guide your alignment and help you deepen your practice at your own pace.
Nature is my favorite studio. Whether we are practicing on the sandy banks of the Ganga in Rishikesh or listening to the waves in Goa, the goal is always the same: finding freedom in movement.
Why Practice Outdoors
Yoga is more than just asanas. When you step out of the studio and into nature, your senses open up. My retreats integrate Hatha yoga flows with Hatha yoga detox techniques like Shatkarma and Jalneti. These are not complicated, but they are transformative. We use these practices to clear the mind, improve breathing, and prepare the body for deep meditation.
What to Expect
My retreats are designed for everyone, regardless of whether you have been practicing for years or just starting. We focus on:
- Hatha Yoga: Gentle, aligned movement that helps you reconnect with your body.
- Cleansing: Practical workshops on Jalneti (nasal cleansing) to keep your system refreshed.
- Community: Sunset chanting circles and shared meals, because healing happens better when we are together.
Expect a simple, soul-filling experience. We stay in eco-friendly beach huts or guesthouses, focusing on Sattvic vegetarian meals that keep you feeling light and energized. If you are looking for a place to pause, breathe, and remember that you are doing just fine, you will fit right in.
