Yoga Teacher Training in Mysore
Deepen your practice and learn to teach in a residential eco-ashram by the river. Our Yoga Alliance accredited courses combine traditional Hatha philosophy with a living connection to nature.
Our teacher training is not just about physical postures; it's an academic and spiritual inquiry. Students are deeply focused during a yoga philosophy lecture, taking notes to absorb the timeless wisdom of the practice.

Morning asana practice is a time to energize the body and focus the mind. Students move through a sequence together, learning to connect traditional chakra system knowledge with modern yoga anatomy principles.
Pranayama, the science of breath control, is a cornerstone of our training. Students practice Anuloma Viloma (alternate nostril breathing) outdoors, learning to calm the nervous system and cultivate inner peace.
We take learning outdoors to connect with nature. Here, students gather by the river for a yoga philosophy class, exploring the Yoga Sutras and Vedanta philosophy in a serene and inspiring environment.
About Yoga Teacher Training in Action
This is not a studio class; it is a 14-hour daily immersion designed to shift your perspective. We strip away the distractions of modern life to help you focus entirely on your practice, your teaching methodology, and the subtle connection between the breath and the body.
Our residential YTT is designed to remove outside noise, allowing you to focus entirely on your transformation. You will wake up to the sound of the river, study anatomy and philosophy in open-air halls, and apply Ayurveda principles in daily meals grown right here on our 18-acre organic farm.
We limit our group sizes to ensure every student receives personalized attention for adjustments and teaching practice. Whether you are aiming for your RYS 200 or 300 certification, the curriculum balances rigorous asana practice with deep dives into the Yoga Sutras and functional anatomy. You can expect a consistent daily rhythm that begins before dawn, as we believe this discipline is what builds a solid foundation for any teacher. By the time you complete your training, you will not just have a certificate; you will have the practical tools and the confidence to lead safe, effective classes for your own future students.
AyurYoga Eco-Ashram
We are a community of practitioners living simply on an organic farm by the river. We do not believe in fancy hotel stays or shortcuts; we believe in the quiet power of traditional Hatha yoga and the wisdom of the earth beneath our feet.
