Transform stress into stillness through the ancient power of rhythm. My Healing Tabla sessions use sacred Naad Yoga and guided meditation to help your group reconnect, recharge, and find collective calm.

At the heart of my group sessions is the 'Healing Tabla Experience', shown here at International Yoga Day. I use specific tabla compositions to guide participants into a state of deep meditation, helping to align chakras and create a powerful, shared sense of tranquility.

A moment of collective breathing and stretching during our International Yoga Day session. My tabla rhythms provide an auditory focus point, helping participants deepen their practice and connect more fully with their mind and body.

A wide view of the large gathering at Juhu Beach for our group yoga and meditation session. It is always powerful to see so many people come together to find peace and wellness through the combined energy of yoga and rhythmic sound.

Here is a glimpse of an immersive Tabla Healing Experience I conducted at a holistic health summit. The focus is on creating a soundscape that allows participants to let go of stress and connect with a feeling of inner calm and divine energy.

It was a privilege to be invited to speak on a panel about wellness through music. In this clip, you can see me sharing my perspective on how rhythm and classical music can be powerful tools for mental and emotional well-being in our modern lives.

A moment of shared respect and gratitude after a powerful meditation session. The goal of these experiences is to create a space where everyone feels connected, centered, and rejuvenated through the power of sound.

About this collection

I design these sessions to be interactive, not just a passive performance. Whether it is a beachside yoga gathering or a corporate leadership workshop, I adapt the tabla's tempo to guide your group’s breathing and focus. You do not need any musical background to participate—just an openness to letting the sound and vibration work their way into your system.

The Science of Sound

My approach is rooted in Naad Yoga, the ancient science of sound. Rhythm is a physiological anchor. When I play, the specific cycles in Vilambit (slow) and Drut (fast) tempos are chosen to synchronize with a group's collective heart rate. This helps the nervous system shift from a state of stress to rest and digest.

What Happens in a Session

  • Guided Breathwork: We start by syncing breath with Tabla bols (syllables). This technique helps lower cortisol levels and stabilizes the mind.
  • Chakra Alignment: Through vocal percussion (Konnakol), I lead groups in chanting that resonates with the Manipur and Anahat chakras, which is effective for clearing emotional blocks.
  • Sound Bath: The final portion of our time is dedicated to a meditative sound bath, where I perform live, allowing the vibrations of the instrument to wash over the space.

Corporate & Community Wellness

I have brought these experiences to diverse settings—from Juhu Beach yoga gatherings to corporate leadership retreats. For companies, this serves as an 'edu-tainment' tool for team bonding, where we use clap-and-chant synchronization to break down communication barriers. It is less about performance and more about presence.

Tabla is my language for peace, passed down through my Gurus, Ustad Allarakha ji and Ustad Zakir Hussain ji. I do not just perform; I use rhythm to help people find stillness and healing in a fast-paced world.
