No shortcuts here. We build functional combat strength through grit, sweat, and consistent hard work, one session at a time.

A typical strength and conditioning session. This involves barbell squats, sledgehammer strikes on the tire, and a moment of appreciation from my training partner, Moti. This is the hard work that builds a fighter's endurance.

This is a look into our MMA special circuit training. We combine striking on the pads with wrestling takedowns and ground and pound drills to simulate the pace and demands of a real fight.

A funny moment in the gym showing what happens when you try to find the easy way out during tire flips. There are no shortcuts in conditioning.

An ice bath session after a hard Sunday training. This is a crucial part of recovery, helping to reduce muscle soreness and prepare our bodies for the next session. Even the kids and Moti join in.

When you think you're done with your workout, but Moti decides you need some extra ab work. He is a great motivator for that last bit of effort.

Swimming is one of my favorite ways to do active recovery and build cardio. It's a great low impact workout that complements our intense MMA training.

About MMA Strength & Conditioning

If you are looking for aesthetic fluff, this is not the place. We use tractor tires, sledgehammers, and high-intensity circuit drills to build the kind of explosive power you actually need in a ring or a real-life scramble. It is gritty and sweaty, and my dog Moti might even show up to supervise your final round of burpees, but you will leave every session knowing you earned your progress.

Why Conditioning Matters in MMA

Technique is great, but it will fail you if your engine quits. In a real-life self-defense situation or a competitive Muay Thai and BJJ match, fatigue is the enemy. That is why our strength and conditioning sessions are not standard gym workouts. They are built for combat sports.

What We Actually Do

We focus on functional strength. You will not find endless machine crunches here. Instead, we use:

  • Tire Flips: For raw, full-body power and explosive hip drive.
  • Sledgehammer Drills: To build rotational power and grip strength for clinching.
  • MMA Circuit Training: We string together striking drills, wrestling takedowns, and ground transitions. This simulates the pacing of a real fight, teaching your body how to perform when your heart rate is redlining.

Recovery is Part of the Work

Hard training demands smart recovery. We practice what we preach, including ice baths to manage muscle soreness and inflammation. This helps you get back on the mats faster. Whether you are prepping for a national competition or just trying to get into fighting shape, the goal remains the same: steady, consistent growth.

Join the Family

We train hard, but we support each other. You are not just a member here; you are part of a community that values discipline, safety, and humility. If you are ready to stop looking for hacks and start putting in the actual work, come train with us at our Sector 46 facility.

I am Anand. I started Omjiujitsu because I know what it is like to feel unsafe and I know how discipline can turn that around. My training is not about gym egos. It is about making you capable, consistent, and genuinely strong, whether you are a beginner or looking to compete.
