Martial arts is more than just fighting. In these insights, I share the mindset, discipline, and commitment needed to grow—both on the mats and in your daily life.

In this video, I made an appeal to the MMA community about our responsibility to protect our loved ones and communities. Martial arts skills are not just for sport; they are for standing up for those who cannot defend themselves.

A clip from my talk on self-discipline. I discuss why people start training and why having the right reasons, beyond fame or money, is crucial for long term commitment and growth.

The very first episode of 'Omjiujitsu Insights', where I explain the importance of consistency. I share my own story of traveling long distances just to train, emphasizing that priority and commitment are everything.

Procrastination is our biggest enemy. In this talk, I discuss the psychology behind making excuses and how the small decision to just show up can lead to a lifetime of progress instead of regret.

The promotional image for my podcast on procrastination. I'm talking with a student about why we delay and how to build the discipline to overcome it.

A preview for a highly requested video series: how to train MMA at home. While training in a gym is best, I provide tips and drills for those who want to build a foundation on their own.

About Omjiujitsu Insights: My Philosophy

You will see in these clips that I do not believe in shortcuts or quick fixes. My approach, whether we are talking about MMA drills or handling life's stress, is about showing up consistently. These insights are for anyone who wants to understand why discipline is the only real way to progress.

Building the Right Foundation

Training at my Sector 46 gym in Gurugram is about building a foundation that lasts. In these videos, I talk about the 'why.' If your motivation is just to get fit for a month, you will likely quit when the training gets hard. If you are here to build character and real skill, you will stay.

Why I Share These Insights

  • Procrastination vs. Progress: I break down why we make excuses and how small decisions lead to a lifetime of growth.
  • Real Self-Defense: It is not just about winning a fight. I talk about our responsibility to protect our loved ones—family, friends, and the community.
  • Discipline Over Motivation: Motivation gets you to the gym on day one. Discipline gets you there on day 100. I share how I manage to stay consistent even when I don't feel like it.

My Philosophy

I believe in training that serves a purpose. Whether you are learning Jiu-Jitsu for ground control or striking for confidence, the techniques are only as good as your mindset. I teach my students that these skills are not for showing off or seeking fame; they are for developing a strong, capable version of yourself that can stand up for others when it matters most. If you are ready to put in the work and stop making excuses, I am ready to guide you.
