Combat Strength & Conditioning
You will not find air conditioning or treadmills here. We use ropes, tires, and your own body weight to build the explosive power required for the mat. This is where fighters are forged.
Real strength isn't built in months. It takes years of consistent effort, like with these sled pushes and rope climbs. There are no shortcuts here.
We use a variety of methods to build functional strength. This includes advanced bodyweight movements like handstands, barbell exercises for power, and resistance band drills for explosive speed.
This is a look at our core strength work. We use ab rollers for core stability, dumbbell presses for upper body power, pull-ups for back strength, and rope climbs for grip and pulling power.
Rope climbing is one of the best tests of upper body and grip strength for any grappler or fighter. It builds the raw power needed to control an opponent.
Training doesn't stop at the gym. A fighter's discipline includes solo workouts, from wrapping hands and hitting the bag to strength training with dumbbells.
Agility and body awareness are just as important as strength. We practice foundational movements like judo rolls and animal flow exercises to improve mobility and prevent injuries.
About Combat Strength & Conditioning
Expect a non-AC, basement environment where the focus is solely on functional movement. You are not just lifting weights to look good; we use climbing ropes, sledgehammers, and tractor tires to build the grip strength and endurance required for Judo and grappling. It is hot, it is heavy, and it is exactly how a fighter prepares.
The Bodhiraan Philosophy
Conditioning is not about isolation exercises or looking good in the mirror. It is about practical power. Whether you are a beginner or training for competition, our sessions integrate the same strength routines I use to prepare for Judo and MMA.
What You Will Actually Do
- Grip & Pulling Power: We use heavy climbing ropes because control wins fights. If you cannot pull your own weight, you cannot control an opponent on the mat.
- Explosive Endurance: Expect sledgehammer drills and sled pushes. These mimic the intensity of a live round, teaching your body to perform even when you are exhausted.
- Core & Stability: Forget crunches. We focus on animal flow, rolls, and bodyweight movements that protect your joints and improve your mobility.
Is This For You?
This is not a commercial gym. It is a space for people ready to put in the work.
- Environment: We train in a basement level facility in Sector 38, Gurugram. It is raw, gritty, and intentionally non-AC to build resilience.
- Methodology: We combine traditional weight training with combat-specific drills. You need to be prepared for sweat, discipline, and a coach who values progress over comfort.
- Expectations: I do not believe in 6-month transformations. We build fighters over years. Bring your patience, your focus, and a willingness to be uncomfortable. That is the only way to get stronger.
