Sangat: The Art of Accompaniment

My role in 'Sangat' is to provide rhythmic support that enhances the performance of the main artist, whether it is a vocalist or an instrumentalist playing the sitar, sarod, or santoor. It requires deep listening and the ability to complement the main artist's improvisations without overpowering them. This includes performances with renowned artists like Begum Parveen Sultana ji and Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan.
