About Online Yoga Shala: Practice With Me from Anywhere
Many students worry that online classes lack personal guidance. In my sessions, we use common household items like chairs and walls as props to bridge that gap. I watch your alignment closely and help you adjust, so you aren't just following a video but actually learning the biomechanics of your body, even through a screen.
My online yoga shala is designed to bring the discipline and community of a physical studio to your living room. We work on the same four pillars I teach in person: mobility, flexibility, strength, and awareness.
How We Practice Online
- Live Feedback: These are not pre-recorded videos. We meet on Zoom, where I can see your practice and offer real-time cues. If a pose feels stuck, we fix it together.
- The Power of Props: You don't need a fancy studio to progress. We use chairs, blocks, and wall space to make challenging poses like headstands or hip openers accessible and safe.
- Batch Variety: I offer specific batches depending on your goals. We have 'Abhyasa' batches for foundational Hatha and flow, and 'Sadhana' batches for teachers and advanced practitioners who want to dive deeper into Ashtanga Vinyasa mechanics.
What You Need
You don't need to be perfect to start. You just need a mat, some dedicated time, and a willingness to show up. For our strength training sessions, have a pair of 3kg and 5kg dumbbells ready. The goal isn't to look like a yogi on social media; it’s to build a body that feels good to live in.
