About Workshops, Retreats & Community
These workshops are not about perfecting a pose on day one. They are about breaking down complex movements—like inversions, backbends, or arm balances—using props and steady drills so you can practice safely. You will find that we focus as much on the 'why' behind the alignment as the 'how,' giving you tools you can actually take home to your own daily mat time.
My Approach
I teach with the philosophy of 'Be calm and kar kaam' (just do your work). My goal is not to create perfect yoga bodies, but to help you become a happy practitioner who understands their own mechanics. We use props extensively—blocks, straps, and chairs—to make challenging poses accessible, not stressful.
Workshops in Mumbai
My workshops in Andheri West and Malad West range from deep dives into Inversions and Arm Balances (like Headstands and Crow Pose) to Backbend Intensives focusing on spinal health. If you are a teacher or a dedicated student, we also run specialized mentorship weekends that look at sequencing logic, adjustment techniques, and the business of yoga. We keep groups intimate so I can provide hands-on help and answer your specific anatomy questions.
Nature Retreats
For those who need to step away from the city, I host regular yoga retreats in Umargam, Gujarat. It is about a 3.5-hour drive from Mumbai. These are not just intense training camps; they are moments to pause, breathe, connect with other yogis, and sometimes just enjoy Acro Yoga on the beach. It is a space to relax, have chai, and deepen your practice without the noise of daily life.
Whether you join us for a Sunday technique intensive or a full retreat, come with an open mind. We are here to grow together.
Ajinkya Meher
I am Ajinkya, and I believe that if you cannot run, you walk—if you cannot walk, you crawl, but you keep moving. My workshops and retreats are extensions of this, built to provide a safe space where we can learn, fail, and grow together without the pressure of being perfect.
