How I See Architecture

I look at architectural design as a way to make spaces feel connected and natural. Light matters a lot to me - I try to bring in as much natural light as the site allows. You’ll notice I play with materials and volumes, sometimes mixing old-school charm with what works for today. For me, every project is about creating an experience, whether it’s calm, playful, or just plain bold.

The Way I Work

• I always start by listening - your story and the place itself shape everything.
• I sketch a lot, usually by hand first. It’s where most of the good ideas show up.
• Once the big idea clicks, I get down to details: drawings, plans, sections.
• I stay involved during construction, making sure the design really comes through.

What I Design

I work on homes that feel personal and flexible - from farmhouses that blend with the land, to urban apartment design that makes the most of tight sites. I also tackle commercial projects, like restaurants set in heritage buildings, and offices that aren’t just boxes.

Some Real Stories

• For a super-narrow plot in Delhi, I used zoning and a minimal facade so the space feels open and airy.
• With the Shiv Mishthan Bhandar, I mixed double-height spaces and jharokhas to balance tradition and modern life.
• Helped a retired couple reconfigure their apartment, giving them a bright, open living space with a breakfast deck.

I’m all about contextual architecture and finding ways for old and new to sit together naturally.
