About Comprehensive Yoga Instruction
Why I Do This
Tajurba se bol raha hu dost (speaking from experience, friend) - whatever dard (pain), gam (sorrow), or dar (fear) you carry, it's inside you. Your strength is there too. My job? Help you uncover it. At Agastya Yoga, hum milke apni journey shuru karte hain (we begin this journey together).
How We Practice
I work with you from wherever you are - whether you're a complete beginner or you've already nailed headstands. No show-offs, just mat-based yoga classes blended with new-school methods.
- Traditional yoga on the mat, starting from basic poses and Surya Namaskar to tricky backbends and inversions.
- Yoga with props for alignment: ropes, wheels, chairs, blocks that help you enter poses safely, try what seemed impossible, and get the form sorted.
- Aerial yoga for beginners and pros. Hanging from soft hammocks, letting gravity help your body open up. Honestly, it's fun and great for your spine.
For Everyone
Age is just a number here. I've watched folks in their 60s and 70s discover aerial yoga and deep backbends. If they can, you can too. The only limit is the one you put on yourself.
My Way of Teaching
I'm your guide, not a drill sergeant. Hands-on yoga guidance and lots of 'shabash' (well done) and 'bahut badhiya' (very good) - because every small win counts. Practice brings progress. Karat-karat abhyas, body changes, mind shifts.
More Than Just Poses
We always end with Savasana and meditation. The goal isn't just the hardest posture. It's shanti (peace) you can carry home with you.

My Story
Namaste, welcome to Agastya Yoga. Yahan sab family hai (here, everyone’s family). Sometimes we’re upside down with Chakrasana, sometimes pulling ropes in tug-of-war. Mauj masti bhi zaroori hai (fun is needed). I started this because I believe har kisi mein Sikandar chhupa hai (everyone has a conqueror inside). Aunties, uncles, even 80-year-olds do asanas here - age doesn’t matter. Bas, I want you to feel good, body and mind. Om.
