Functional & Core Conditioning
A strong core is the foundation of all movement. We blend modern suspension training with traditional techniques to build a body that is truly capable.
Using a TRX suspension system to perform a challenging horizontal plank. This exercise builds immense core strength and stability, as the body must work against gravity to maintain a straight line.
A student performs a wall sit while holding a medicine ball with sticks. This is part of our 30-day challenge to lose 5 kg, focusing on building isometric strength and endurance in the legs and core.
This video showcases a variety of challenging fitness drills. It includes lunges, push-ups, and bench exercises for core and upper body, demonstrating the dynamic nature of our conditioning sessions.
A sequence of functional fitness challenges including pole-assisted leg raises, chair step-ups, and incline push-ups. This shows how we use simple props to create a demanding full-body workout.
I am performing an L-sit hold on a pull-up bar. This is an advanced calisthenics exercise that requires significant core, hip flexor, and upper body strength, reflecting the motto "I'll never stop trying".
A student practices an inversion using gymnastic rings. This exercise decompresses the spine, improves circulation, and builds grip and shoulder strength in a unique way.
This video shows the journey of building core strength, from a failed attempt to a successful execution. It demonstrates that progress is a process of persistence, and we guide students every step of the way.
A demonstration of Navasana, or Boat Pose, with an anatomical overlay. This pose is fundamental for strengthening the core abdominal muscles and hip flexors, which also aids in improving digestion.
A core workout montage showing various exercises. It includes dumbbell lifts, plank variations with a balance cushion, and pull-up bar leg raises to target the core from all angles.
This core workout sequence uses a chair as a prop for leg raises and planks. The Sanskrit chant in the background emphasizes our philosophy of blending the physical with the spiritual.
About Functional & Core Conditioning
We do not rely on treadmills or static machines. You will work with TRX suspension straps, kettlebells, and traditional Hanuman Dand to build a foundation that supports you in daily life. This is about training for stability and real-world power, not just aesthetic muscle growth.
Our approach to functional and core conditioning is built on the belief that a resilient body requires both modern science and ancient discipline. In our 60-minute sessions at our Saket studio, we limit group sizes to 15 students to ensure that every participant receives the necessary guidance to execute complex movements safely.
The Method
We bridge the gap between traditional Hatha Yoga and modern strength training. Sessions often begin with bodyweight conditioning on the mat and progress to dynamic movements. You will encounter:
- Suspension Training: Using TRX straps to challenge your balance and engage the core in every plane of motion.
- Indian Strength Practices: Incorporating Hanuman Dand and Mudgar routines, which develop functional power and joint integrity far more effectively than isolated gym exercises.
- Compound Loading: Using hex dumbbells and kettlebells to improve bone density and strength, always with a focus on breathwork and mental dhyan (focused attention).
Every class concludes with Pranayama and Shavasana, ensuring that the physical intensity you exert is balanced by a return to calm. Whether you are aiming to correct posture, recover from back pain, or increase your explosive power, our curriculum is designed to make you stronger from the inside out.
