About Fitness & Conditioning for Table Tennis
Speed and Fitness, Table Tennis Style
I call my players 'Raftaar ke avtaar' - speed is king on the table. In my sessions, you won't just rally, you'll train like an athlete. If you want those #LevelAlagHai (next level) reactions and stamina, your fitness has to keep up with your shots.
What I Focus On
- Agility and quickness: Loads of drills using agility ladders and cones. You'll be weaving, sidestepping, and reacting fast.
- Explosive power: Skipping, plyometric training for racket sports, and bodyweight circuits. This helps you hit those fast rallies and recover quickly.
- Core strength: Basic stuff like push-ups and core work - not fancy, just solid, so you can last through tough matches.
Fitness That Feels Like Play
Especially for younger kids, I make fitness about fun, not punishment. Sometimes we’ll do a high-speed tic-tac-toe race or other games that sneak in footwork exercises for table tennis. Everyone sweats, nobody complains.
Who Should Try This
Anyone who wants to get fast and strong for table tennis. I work with tiny beginners and serious medal chasers. Every drill sticks to your level - no one-size-fits-all.
My aim is simple: create players who are quick, fit, and actually enjoy the grind.

My Story
Table tennis is everything for us at Ping Pong Academy. Timo Boll? Legend! Once, we even got to play with Aamir Khan for UTT promo—crazy fast, wild fun. But the best part? Watching our tiny champs, 4 or 6 years old, nailing that forehand top spin. We’re more like a family here—celebrating Janmashtami, Maha Shivratri, and every win, big or small. If you love ping pong, you’ll fit right in.
