Self-Defense Workshops for Schools & Colleges
Real safety isn't learned from textbooks. I bring practical self-defense training directly to your campus, helping students build the confidence to face any challenge.
A powerful moment with the students of GGSSS MB Road Pushp Vihar school during a self-defense camp. We focus on building a strong, unified stance against any threat.
Prachi, one of my trainees, explains the core rule we teach: AAR, which means Alert, Action, Run. She also talks about using everyday items like a pen or hair clip as a weapon for self-protection.
Here I am demonstrating a wrist-hold escape technique to a student while her classmates watch. Each session includes live demonstrations of common attacks and simple, effective defenses.
This video shows students practicing how to block a head attack using a padded object. This drill helps build reflexes and removes the fear of engaging with an attacker.
A compilation of various training moments from a school workshop. You can see demonstrations of different defense scenarios and group practice sessions, both indoors and outdoors.
A group of girls practicing synchronized punches and blocks. These drills are not just for fitness, they build muscle memory and the instinct to react powerfully under pressure.
The first day of a self-defense camp is always full of energy. Here, students are learning basic blocks and partner drills to build a foundation of confidence and coordination.
About this collection
I don't teach fancy movie-style moves that fail in the street. I focus on the AAR methodology—Alert, Action, Run—a simple, practical survival framework that works when you are under pressure. We teach students how to turn everyday items like pens, bags, or keys into tools for protection, ensuring they walk away with the confidence to handle trouble, not just a certificate.
Why Schools Need Real-World Safety
Traditional martial arts classes take years to master, but students and NCC units need skills they can use tomorrow. My campus workshops are designed to break the 'inner barrier'—that voice of doubt that tells you to freeze when danger strikes. I focus on situational awareness, teaching students how to spot trouble before it escalates, and how to use their voice to command authority.
The Training Framework
We keep it hands-on and high-energy. My sessions cover:
- AAR Methodology: Alert, Action, Run. The essential three-step protocol for surviving urban threats.
- Improvised Weaponry: How to effectively use a notebook, mobile phone, or hair clip when you have no formal weapon.
- Scenario Training: Practicing releases from common grabs, chokes, and harassment situations in a controlled, safe environment.
- Fear Management: Using controlled breathing and drills to manage adrenaline, so your body doesn't shut down in a crisis.
Partnering with Educational Institutions
I travel to campuses across Delhi NCR to conduct these sessions. Whether it's a 90-minute intensive workshop or a multi-day camp for NCC cadets, we tailor the intensity to the age group—from primary school kids learning 'Good Touch/Bad Touch' to college students mastering advanced self-protection. My goal is to leave every participant feeling capable and prepared to protect themselves and those around them. Let's make your campus a safer space.
Aarav Taekwondo Academy
I am not just here to teach punches; I am here to build warriors who believe in themselves. When I step into a school or college campus, my goal is to give every student the courage to handle fear, not just on the mat, but in life.
