Taekwondo and Self-Defense Training at My Saket Academy
More than just kicks and punches, this is where we build the discipline, mental strength, and situational awareness to face any fight, inside or outside the ring.
At my desk in the Aarav Taekwondo Academy. This is where I plan the training that will shape the future champions of India.
Looking at the wall of achievements in my academy. It is a reminder of how far we have come and the mission that lies ahead.
A glimpse into a typical day at the academy. You can see students of different ages engaged in various drills, from warm-ups to technique practice, all under the supervision of a senior instructor.
A video showing the opening of our second academy branch. My students are greeting the guests, showing the respect and discipline that is central to our training.
A black and white video of me practicing kicking drills with a student holding a pad. This was taken when I returned to training after a long break, proving it is never too late to start again.
A proud moment with Grandmaster Pervez Khan (8th Dan Black Belt) after I achieved my 2nd Dan Black Belt. Continuous learning is a journey I share with my students.
Receiving my 2nd Dan Black Belt certificate from Grandmaster Pervez Khan at my academy. Every new level is a responsibility to teach and inspire better.
About this collection
The atmosphere here is serious, not a hobby club. My students don't just learn kicks, they learn how to handle their own fear in a tight spot. We focus on practical drills because the best way to handle a real threat is to be aware before it starts, and having the confidence to get yourself out of a situation safely.
People often ask me, Coach, how long until I become a black belt? I tell them, focus on the first lesson: showing up. In my Saket academy, I strip away the ego. Whether you are a student looking for after-school fitness, a professional aiming for self-defense, or a parent wanting to instill discipline in your child, the foundation is the same. It starts with khud pe vishwas (self-belief).
My classes are not about rote memorization of forms. We do intensive drills that test your reflexes and endurance. If you are training here, you are also training your mind to manage that adrenaline dump during high-stress situations. We use real gear, like focus pads and shields, to simulate actual impact. This is not a gym where you come to stare at mirrors. You will sweat, you will stumble, and then you will get back up. That is the only way to learn.
I keep batches small to ensure individual attention because correcting your stance today prevents injury tomorrow. We have moved beyond just traditional Taekwondo to incorporate cross-fitness elements, ensuring you develop functional strength that helps in your daily life, not just on the mat. If you want a place to hide or take it easy, this is not it. But if you are ready to put in the work and face the voice of doubt in your head, my door is open.
