Sound Healing & Meditation Sessions in Mulund
Step away from the noise and let your nervous system reset. In our sound baths, I use Tibetan bowls and gongs to help you find a deeper sense of calm.
Glimpses from a rejuvenating sound healing workshop led by a guest practitioner at our studio. Participants are guided into a state of deep rest as the vibrations of the bowls work their magic.
During a sound healing session, the focus is on receiving. Here, a guest teacher explains how our body unconsciously accumulates memory and how sound vibrations can help release stored tension.
We sometimes blend different sound elements in our sessions. Here, a guest musician adds the serene melody of a bansuri flute to the deep resonance of the Tibetan bowls for a truly immersive experience.

Breath is a powerful tool for healing. This video explains how daily pranayama and meditation can reduce stress and improve lung capacity, and invites you to join our online classes to learn these techniques.
Pranayama, or breath control, is a vital part of yoga. I offer dedicated online classes where you can learn to harness the power of your breath from the comfort of your home.

About Sound Healing & Meditation
When you lie down for a sound bath, you aren't just hearing the music; you’re feeling the vibrations move through you. Whether it’s the resonance of a Tibetan bowl or the depth of a large gong, these frequencies work on a physical level to help release tension you didn't even know you were carrying. You don’t need to meditate or have any prior experience—just lie down, breathe, and let the sound do the work for you.
Many of us live in a constant state of ‘doing,’ and it can be hard to switch off. That’s where these sessions come in. I’ve seen my pyare log walk in with stressed shoulders and a busy mind, and leave feeling like they’ve finally given themselves permission to rest.
Why Sound Healing?
Sound healing works by slowing down your brainwaves, shifting you from an active state to a relaxed, meditative one. We use a 7-piece Tibetan Singing Bowl set, a large Gong, Koshi chimes, and sometimes the bansuri flute. It’s not about listening for a melody; it’s about bathing in frequencies. This helps clear the mental chatter, which is why it’s so effective for anxiety relief and better sleep quality.
What Happens in a Session?
Our sessions typically last 90 minutes. We start with a bit of gentle breathwork to settle the body, followed by about 60 minutes of sound immersion, and finish with a short grounding period. You don't have to sit in a cross-legged pose if that's uncomfortable—you can lie down in Savasana with bolsters for support. We create a cozy, safe space at our Mulund studio. It’s warm, the lighting is dimmed, and the only requirement is an open mind.
Private vs. Public
If you’re looking for a personal group activity—like a birthday gathering or a corporate wellness break—we offer private studio buyouts for up to 10 people. It’s a great way to bond without the usual noise and stress. For individuals, our public group sessions are a wonderful way to join our Kaya community and share the experience with others.
Kaya Yoga Studio
I started Kaya Yoga Studio to be more than just a place for exercise—it’s a safe space for us to find balance together. My sound healing sessions are built on the simple belief that sometimes, the best way to help our body is to just let it be still and listen to the vibrations.
