Getting into a Sirsasana (headstand) is not just about flipping upside down. It is about understanding the alignment of your core and shoulders first. In my personal practice, I spend almost as much time on preparatory drills as I do in the pose itself. If you are looking to master these inversions, we do not just jump into them. Mastering advanced asanas requires patience. I do not believe in rushing into inversions like Sirsasana. We start with core-engaging drills to ensure your neck and shoulders are protected. It is about building a body that can sustain the pose, not just forcing it into position.
