About Our Yoga Family

In my group sessions, we don't just work on flexibility; we focus on real-world movement. Whether we are using Iyengar-style rope walls to decompress the spine or working in pairs to assist a deep stretch, you will find that healing feels less like a chore and more like a reset. You get all the benefits of personal guidance within a supportive community setting.

My approach to group yoga is simple: healing happens when we are relaxed, not when we are stressed about getting the perfect pose. In our Ramesh Nagar studio, we move away from the traditional, silent-only class structure. Instead, we use a mix of props like yoga wheels, bricks, and cotton belts to ensure that even if you have stiff joints or old injuries, you can participate safely.

Why Practice Together?

Practicing with others creates a shared energy that is hard to replicate alone. We focus heavily on:

  • Joint Mobility: Using Sukshma Vyayam to target frozen shoulders and cervical pain.
  • Spinal Health: Using rope walls to create space and traction in the spine, which is vital for sciatica or disc issues.
  • Inclusivity: Whether you are dealing with thyroid issues or just want to tone up, the modifications I provide ensure the class fits your body today, not the body you think you 'should' have.

We also make sure it isn't 'boring.' You will see parents practicing with their children, friends helping each other in partner poses, and enough laughter to ensure you leave the mat feeling lighter than when you arrived. It is not just about the asana; it is about the 'bachpan wali feeling' (that childlike joy) that helps reduce stress and anxiety.
