About Real People, Real Healing
Healing isn't magic, it’s consistency. When you join, we don’t just start with poses; we start with a posture analysis to understand your specific pain points, whether it's L4-L5 compression or frozen shoulders. I use props like Iyengar-style wall ropes and yoga wheels to safely decompress your spine, ensuring you don't strain yourself while working toward real, lasting relief.
How We Approach Real Healing
Many of my students come to me after trying various treatments for back pain, sciatica, or chronic stiffness. My goal is simple: to make your body feel light again through lagataar abhyaas (regular practice).
My Method for Your Recovery:
- Targeted Support: We use Iyengar-style wall ropes for spinal traction, allowing you to hang and decompress your spine safely. This is vital for those with slip-disc issues who cannot do heavy floor-based exercise.
- Props for Safety: Whether it's yoga wheels for backbends or bricks for alignment, props aren't shortcuts. They help you reach the right position without forcing your body into a state of pain.
- Hands-On Adjustments: I don't just demonstrate from the front. I provide physical adjustments so you can feel how the spine should twist—jaise hum kapda nichodte hain (like wringing a cloth). This is how we release tension in the shoulders and lower back.
Why Students Choose This Path
It’s not just about the poses. We focus on breathing techniques like Ujjayi for thyroid regulation and Sukshma Vyayam for joint mobility. When you see your knee pain subside or your acidity improve, the motivation to practice naturally follows.
I run small-group batches of 12-15 people. This ensures that even though it's a class setting, I am watching your posture and modifying the exercises for your specific condition, whether you are dealing with cervical pain, knee stiffness, or just looking to improve your flexibility.
Your First Step
Don't worry if you think you are too stiff or in too much pain to start. That is exactly when you need yoga the most. Every journey to recovery starts with a single session to understand what your body needs right now.
