Yoga goes beyond stretching. We use focused breathing and alignment to heal chronic pain, improve posture, and regain strength, no matter your age or physical condition.

This is why I teach. Hearing how yoga helped my student avoid surgery for back pain, manage her thyroid, and lose inches makes my day. Yog kariye, mast rahein, swasth rahein.

If you have back pain, these asanas can bring you relief. In this video, I demonstrate Parvatasana, Marjaryasana, and Bhujangasana, explaining how to do them correctly for lower, middle, or upper back pain.

For many of us, tension builds up in the upper back and shoulders. I use props like these yoga blocks to help my students safely open up these areas, providing hands-on assistance to ensure proper alignment.

Vakrasana, or the spinal twist, is a powerful pose. I explain how this simple twist, when combined with breathwork, can improve digestion, support organ health, and bring flexibility back to your spine.

The wall is one of our best props for healing. Here, we are using it for a shoulder and upper back opening practice, which helps improve posture and release stiffness.

Sciatica pain can be debilitating, but targeted stretches can provide immense relief. In my classes, we use props like straps to gently work on the affected areas, making the practice accessible for everyone.

A strong and flexible spine is a gift we can give our children. In my kids' yoga classes, we focus on fun, engaging exercises that build a healthy foundation for life.

Sahyog ke saath sadhana, or practice with support. I believe in the power of community, where we help each other go deeper into our practice safely and with a smile.

The biggest change usually starts with how we use props. Whether it is wall ropes for spinal traction or yoga wheels to gently open the upper back, these tools are not shortcuts. They are support systems that help your body safely release stiffness, especially if you have chronic back pain or disc issues.

Healing is a process of unlearning bad postural habits. Many students come to me after trying endless physiotherapy sessions for back pain or sciatica, looking for a way to move without fear. My approach focuses on Sookshma Vyayam (subtle joint movements) and targeted asanas that respect your current limits.

We do not rush. We work with the body, not against it. If you have cervical issues, we adapt the neck movements. If you have knee pain, we find modifications. The use of props like Iyengar-style wall ropes is central to this. These ropes allow us to create traction in the spine, effectively decompressing the vertebrae that get compressed from sitting long hours at a desk.

For conditions like thyroid or digestive issues, we pair asanas with specific pranayama like Ujjayi breathwork. It is about consistency. You will hear me say 'Shwaas bharo, shwaas chodo' constantly, because the breath dictates the pace of healing. Whether you are dealing with a frozen shoulder or looking to manage your weight through a sustainable lifestyle, my classes in Ramesh Nagar are designed to be a safe space for your recovery. Start with a drop-in pass to see how the alignment works for your unique needs.
