Therapeutic Yoga for Health Goals: Manage Pain, Hormones & Diabetes
Yoga isn't just about touching your toes; it is about healing from within. Whether you are dealing with hormonal imbalances, chronic back pain, or diabetes, I will help you find a practice that works with your body, not against it.
This is the first part of my series on naturally managing hormonal imbalances. I explain what hormones are, the common symptoms of imbalance like fatigue and mood swings, and why it's important to pay attention to your body's signals.
Feeling bloated or frustrated by mood swings? You're not alone. In this video, I introduce my five-day series on understanding and managing hormonal imbalance, offering a natural solution to help you feel more in control of your body.
Back pain is a common issue, and mindful movement can provide significant relief. I share specific asanas for back pain, emphasizing slow, breath-aware practice and important lifestyle considerations for long-term spinal health.
Your spine is your lifeline. This short tutorial demonstrates three basic asanas for spinal health: Cat-Cow for flexibility, Cobra for strength, and Extended Puppy Pose to lengthen and relax the spine.
Yoga can be a powerful tool for managing diabetes. I explain how the body handles sugar and demonstrate simple yoga poses that can improve insulin sensitivity and reduce stress, which is a key factor in blood sugar levels.
This educational video explains the causes and symptoms of Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs). I demonstrate specific yoga poses and breathing techniques that can help reduce inflammation, improve urine flow, and strengthen pelvic floor muscles for prevention.
Yogic breathing techniques can be very effective for managing respiratory conditions like bronchitis. This video provides recommendations for pranayama, steam inhalation, and other lifestyle adjustments to support your respiratory health.
About this collection
Many students come to me because they feel like their body is fighting them—whether it is persistent back pain from desk work or the exhaustion of hormonal fluctuations. In my therapeutic sessions, we do not force postures. We start by assessing your current state and then use breathwork and targeted asanas to gently signal your nervous system to reset, often using household props you already have to make sure you are safe and supported.
Understanding Yoga for Therapeutic Relief
Yoga is often marketed as a high-intensity workout, but when you are managing a health condition, your approach needs to be precise and gentle. My sessions for specific health goals are designed to address the root cause of discomfort rather than just the symptoms.
Hormonal Balance & PCOS I see many students struggling with mood swings, fatigue, and hormonal irregularities. We focus on stabilizing your endocrine system through specific breathing techniques like Bhramari (Bee Breath) and Kapalabhati, combined with restorative poses that calm the nervous system. The goal is to bring you back to a state of Santosh (contentment) by reducing cortisol levels naturally.
Back Pain & Spinal Health If you work a desk job in Bengaluru, you likely know the strain of long hours. We address spinal health by breaking down complex movements into accessible steps. We utilize foundational poses like Marjari-Bitilasana (Cat-Cow) to improve flexibility and Anand Balasan to release tension. I prioritize alignment to ensure that you are protecting your spine, not straining it.
Diabetes & Metabolism Managing blood sugar is about consistency and mindfulness. Through targeted postures like Paschimottanasana and Bhujangasana, we improve insulin sensitivity and boost digestion. These are not just poses; they are tools to help your body process energy more efficiently.

You do not need to be flexible to start. You just need to show up, breathe, and trust the process of healing.
