About Train Together, Grow Together

Most couples treat the gym as a social hour, but I run my sessions differently. We use an 'I go, you go' format to keep the intensity high, ensuring that while one person is pushing, the other is active in spotting or recovery. It makes the workout faster and forces you to stay disciplined on your form.

Training That Gets Results

At XLR8, my couples training isn't about standing around and talking. Whether you are beginners or advanced, the goal is simple: efficient, safe, and intense training. I see many people waste time on ineffective workouts; my role is to fix that. We focus on:

  • I-Go-You-Go Format: This keeps your heart rate up. You perform the exercise while your partner spots or recovers, then switch. This builds endurance and forces you to focus on the movement.
  • Safe Spotting: I teach you how to properly support your partner during compound lifts like squats and bench presses. Bad spotting leads to injuries; proper spotting helps you push heavier weight safely.
  • Synchronized Movement: From kettlebell swings to core work, we use movements that require rhythm and teamwork to strengthen the bond alongside your muscles.

Can we train if we are at different fitness levels? Yes. I adjust the reps and resistance for each person. You are training together, but the plan is individual to your body.

What equipment do we use? We use everything from tractor tires and log bars to battle ropes and agility ladders. It is functional, raw, and highly effective for total body strength.
