Couples & Group Training: Workout Together, Win Together
Training is easier when you have someone in your corner. I focus on shared fitness goals, whether it is a couple building healthy habits or a group crushing a marathon.
Get fit with your partner. This video shows how couples can motivate each other, from a beginner doing modified pushups at home to advanced variations in the gym. Training together keeps you accountable and makes the process more fun.
A new core workout challenge with the crew. Group workouts like this build a strong sense of community and push everyone to work harder. We always find ways to make fitness fun and competitive.
Fitness should be fun. Here I am with my clients at the Urban Mutant Color Run 5k. It's a great way to celebrate our fitness goals together outside the gym.
We finished the 5k color run. I train clients for specific events like this, creating programs that build the right kind of endurance and strength to not just finish, but finish strong.
We run to win. Posing with a fellow runner after a marathon event. The community and shared sense of accomplishment are a huge part of what makes fitness a lifestyle.
The whole team after a successful Holi color run. I believe in building a supportive fitness family where we celebrate each other's victories.
Posing with friends and the team after the color run. These events are a great way to apply the hard work from the gym in a fun, real world setting.
About this collection
When you train with a partner or a group, accountability spikes and the intensity goes up. I do not just put you in a room together. I design sessions where you push each other, like partner-based HIIT or group endurance drills for events like the 5k color runs, so that the person next to you becomes your biggest motivator.
Fitness is a journey, and having a support system makes the hard days easier. When you join my couples or group sessions, we shift the focus from solo struggle to collective achievement.
Why Train Together?
- Increased Accountability: It is much harder to skip a session when your partner or workout crew is waiting for you at the gym.
- Friendly Competition: I introduce challenges—like timed core workouts or rep-count races—that naturally bring out the best in everyone.
- Shared Goals: Whether you are training for a 5k run in Bangalore or just want to get stronger, we build programs that ensure everyone finishes the race together.
My Approach to Group Dynamics
I treat group training the same way I treat my own workouts: no shortcuts. If we are preparing for a color run or a marathon, I plan the endurance programming to match the event. If you are a couple training at Silhouette Fitness, we focus on compound lifts where one person provides the spot for the other.
Jeevna purthi hoddadde (I’ve struggled my whole life!), so I know that showing up is half the battle. When you have a team, you show up more often. We celebrate the wins—big or small—and keep the energy high from the first rep to the finish line.
