My Take on Tabla Recording

I see every recording as a chance to dive deep into the music and really connect with its spirit. Main toh bas yahi manta hoon (I really believe) that percussion isn’t just a background thing - it can make the whole track vibe differently. Whether we’re jamming in person or sending files across continents, I want that kya baat hai feel every time the rhythm hits.

What I Offer

• Trained in Indian classical tabla, I bring authentic technique and real emotion to every session
• I love mixing things up, from fusion tabla sessions to jazz, hip-hop, or even tabla loops for electronic music
• Comfortable with Carnatic and Hindustani styles, so I can blend South Indian rhythms if that’s what your track needs

How We Collaborate

• Most projects happen remotely - you send your track, I record crisp studio tabla tracks in Mumbai and deliver polished files
• If you’re local or I’m touring, we can work together in a studio space, face to face
• I use pro gear and Ableton for clear tabla sound, ready for mixing

More Than Just Tabla

Sometimes a track needs more layers - I can add Cajon, shakers, and other hand percussion for a fuller groove.

Why My Sound Is Different

Every beat is a nod to my gurus and my father, Pt. Sunil Banerjee. Tradition meets new ideas here. I try not to be too rigid - I want the music to breathe. Fusion, pure classical, or something totally wild? I’m up for it.
