About Live Tabla for Concerts, Events & Accompaniment
My Take on Rhythm
Music’s never felt like a fixed goal to me - it’s more like a never-ending journey. Every show, I’m still learning, still chasing that perfect groove. Sharing that with others is the best part.
Accompanying Artists & Creating Moments
There’s nothing quite like playing live with other musicians - that instant connection on stage, the small looks, the little nods. I mostly do tabla accompaniment for Hindustani classical vocal and instrumental music. I’ve played with Sitar and Sarod legends (think Shahid Parvez Khan Saheb, Ken Zuckerman) and plenty of amazing vocalists too. Doesn’t matter if it’s a classic jugalbandi, an ensemble, or a solo gig - I just want everyone to say, “Wah wah, ki bajechhe!” (Wow, what a performance!)
Going Solo & Diving Deeper
Solo tabla performance is my way to really explore the taals and show off some traditional Lucknow gharana compositions, plus my own take. Sometimes it’s a cosy baithak, other times a big festival stage. Each space brings its own vibe.
Beyond Just Classical
I love mixing it up - fusion tabla for corporate events, jazz collabs, a bit of Hip-Hop, even Rabindrasangeet and Ghazals. During Pujo, you might catch me jamming with the Dhaak too. Basically, if it’s got rhythm, I’m game.
Where You’ll Find Me
Based in Mumbai, but the music takes me everywhere - all over India and pretty often to the US as well. If you’re after something real, a bit spontaneous, and full of heart, I’m always ready to bring the tabla wherever it’s needed.

My Story
Honestly, I feel lucky every day to be on this crazy musical ride. Playing with legends, jamming with strangers from Sweden, sharing the stage with Sounak da at Basant Utsav in Pune—these moments are everything. Ken Zuckerman ji taught me, even in his last concert, to keep chasing perfection, never settle. Music’s a language, doesn’t matter where you’re from. I just try to pass on the fun, the good vibes, and maybe a bit of that magic.
