About
My Musical Process
Music is my life. Every day starts with my riyaaz, and every studio session is a new story. I find real joy in shaping a composer's vision, using the sitar to add emotion and depth - sometimes that means sticking to tradition, sometimes it's about mixing things up.
What I Offer
- Hindustani classical session recording is my core, but I love stretching boundaries
- I play for film scores, background music, and ad jingles - giving each a unique Indian flavour
- Fusion music studio session with my band Urja or other artists keeps things fresh
- I also record devotional, Bollywood covers, and tracks for wellness and meditation
How We Work Together
I record in professional studios for crisp, clean sound, but I know creativity gets messy - so I’m flexible with timings, even if we need night sessions or fast turnarounds. Remote instrumental collaboration is no problem, even if you’re not in Mumbai. I’ve worked with labels and artists worldwide, adapting to their needs.
The Real Deal
Not every recording is easy. Sometimes the perfect take needs patience, sometimes the timeline is tight. I’m here to listen and get it right for your project, whether it’s a single track or a full album. If you want sitar that genuinely fits your story, let’s talk music.

My Story
My Work
Sitarist, Composer & Teacher - I play sitar live (solo, with my band Urja), record sessions, and teach Indian classical music lessons.
Indian Classical & Meditative Raags - My heart’s in classical - morning riyaaz with soulful raags, and big moments like performing at Pt. Bhimsen Joshi Mahotsav.
Fusion & Bollywood Sitar Covers - With Urja, I blend genres, create originals, and love giving Bollywood or Kannada hits a sitar twist.
Collaborations & Sitar Duets - Playing with Chirag, jamming with friends on tabla and keys - music’s just better when shared.
