Scope of Work
- Vocal Recording: Recording of Lead Vocals for one track (up to 5 minutes duration).
- Texture: Arrangement and recording of harmonies, doubles, and ad-libs.
- Post-Production: Includes vocal comping (stitching best takes), pitch correction (Melodyne/AutoTune), and noise removal.
Technical Deliverables
- Format: High-resolution WAV stems (24-bit/48kHz).
- Files: Individual Dry stems for Lead, Doubles, and Harmonies provided separately for mixing.
- Gear: Recorded on Lewitt LCT 240 Pro Microphone via Audient EVO 4 Interface.
Terms
- Turnaround: 3 to 5 Days.
- Revisions: Up to 2 rounds included for expression or melody tweaks.
- Rights: Work for Hire basis (One-time fee, no future royalties claimed).
Songwriting & Composition
Creative Scope
- Lyrics: Writing original lyrics in Hindi, Urdu, or English following a standard Verse-Chorus-Bridge structure.
- Composition: Creation of original vocal melody and basic chord progression.
- Styles: Optimized for Acoustic Pop, Sufi-Fusion, Indie Ballads, and Soft Rock.
Deliverables
- Reference Demo: One acoustic recording (Guitar + Vocals) to demonstrate flow and tune.
- Documentation: Lyric sheet text file with chord markers.
Revisions
- Process: Includes 2 rounds of changes on lyrics or melodic tweaks before the final demo recording.
Live Backing Vocalist
Performance Scope
- Role: Backing Vocals, Harmony Section, or Chorus member.
- Skill: Capable of blending with choirs or supporting lead artists with live improvisation of harmonies.
Time Commitment
- Show Day: Includes afternoon Soundcheck and evening Live Performance (up to 10 hours engagement).
- Rehearsal: Includes 1 mandatory jam room rehearsal (up to 4 hours) prior to the show day.
Requirements
- Gear: Artist brings own In-Ear Monitors (IEMs).
- Wardrobe: Adherence to band dress code (e.g., All Black or Ethnic Formal).
- Exclusions: Travel, accommodation, and food per-diems must be provided by the organizer for out-of-station gigs.
Poetry & Theater Accompanist
Artistic Contribution
- Scoring: Live background guitar scoring for spoken word or poetry segments.
- Interludes: Performance of 2 to 3 original or cover songs (Unplugged) as musical breaks between acts.
Integration
- Rehearsal: Includes 2 collaborative rehearsal sessions with poets or actors to sync timing.
- Vibe: Intimate, soulful textures suitable for black-box theaters or art cafes.
Tech Specs
- Setup: Acoustic setup (Guitar + Vocals).
- Venue Requirements: Basic PA system, 2 Mics, and 1 DI Box required.
About Session Vocalist & Artistic Collaborations
Where I Come From
Music started for me in a chhote se sheher (small town) in UP, but Mumbai is home now. I’ve always felt music is about sharing stories and connecting - not just performing my own stuff, but vibing with new artists and building something together.
What I Actually Do
- Session Vocalist: If you need a voice for film music vocal recording, OTT series, or singles, I’m in. Playback singing, adapting to different styles thanks to my classical roots - I can handle it.
- Live Shows: I’ve sung harmony vocals in choirs for big events and arena shows. I know the drill - rehearsals, soundchecks, blending in with the group. If you want live choir harmony vocals, I’m your guy.
- Artistic Collabs: I get excited about spoken word music collaboration, fusing music with stories and poetry. Mehfil ho ya experimental show (be it an intimate gathering or experimental gig), I’m game to try new ideas.
- Production Help: Need music arrangement services, or help mixing and mastering? Done that for covers and original tracks too.
Why I Actually Care
Some gigs have really shaped me - like singing for Shreya Ghoshal’s tour with Goonj choir, performing at Ambani wedding events, and creating “Situationship ke Side Effects” with Shweta Singh. Each one’s taught me something about teamwork and pushing creative limits.
How I Work

My Story
Namaste, I'm Ishaan. Bahraich se hoon, ab Mumbai mein hoon - chhota sheher, bade sapne. Indian classical music meri roots hai, aur har show mein woh feel aata hai. Kabhi Ambani ki shaadi, kabhi Shreya Ghoshal ke saath stage share kiya - abhi bhi yakeen nahi hota. Har crowd alag, har raat ki vibe alag. Jab log pehli baar mera gaana sunke saath gaane lagte hain, bas, dil khush ho jaata hai.
My Work
Live Singer for Any Event - I sing live at festivals, college fests, corporate gigs, house parties, intimate mehfils - solo or with my band.
My Music Vibe - Original indie songs live, soulful Sufi ghazals, 90s melodies, retro Bollywood classics, and today's hits - I mix it all.
Big Stage or Cozy Mehfil - Love the energy of huge crowds, but small house gigs where people sing along? That’s pure magic for me.
Collaboration & Session Work - I join other artists for collaborative music sessions, choirs, and unique shows blending poetry, stories, and songs.
