Here I am demonstrating an Antakshari Chakradar, a complex composition where each phrase begins with the last beat of the previous one. This is played over a sarangi loop by the great Ustad Sultan Khan Saheb.

As a tribute to the legendary Pt. Swapan Chaudhuri, I'm playing a Lucknow Dhig Dhina Kaida he taught me. This showcases the pure, traditional side of my tabla playing, rooted in the teachings of the great masters.

A solo tabla piece played along with a sampled Sarangi loop from the great Pandit Ramesh Mishra ji's recital. This shows how I can create a full performance feel even when playing solo.

A short, energetic solo piece demonstrating speed and clarity. This is the kind of playing that can bring a lot of energy to a track.

About Solo Tabla Compositions

Unlike many who focus only on speed, I focus on the 'why' of every stroke, applying concepts from different gharanas like Lucknow or Jaipur to create rhythmic puzzles. When you listen to these solos, notice how I treat the tabla not just as an accompaniment tool, but as a complete melodic voice. If you are looking for someone to bring this level of technicality and authentic classical structure to your project—whether it is a fusion track or a documentary background score—let’s talk about the specific kaida or taal that fits your vision.
