- Role: Acts as a Sathi (accompanist) for lead vocalists/instrumentalists or provides solo background ambience.
- Styles: Covers Indian Classical and Semi-Classical genres like Natya Sangeet, Abhang, and Bhajans.
- Duration: Performance time up to 3 hours excluding a 30-minute pre-event setup check.
Instrument & Tuning
- Gear: Professional Sheesham wood Dayan and Copper/Brass Bayan.
- Tuning: On-spot tuning capabilities to match the lead artist's pitch (Black 1 to Black 4).
- Supplies: Includes rings, covers, tuning hammer, and talcum powder.
Presentation
- Look: Traditional Indian ethnic wear (Saree or Salwar Suit) suitable for religious and family gatherings.
- Etiquette: Adheres to traditional stage protocols and respect for senior artists.
Client Requirements
- Sound: Client must provide a PA system and 2 specific instrument microphones with stands (one for Treble, one for Bass).
- Stage: Requires a raised platform or clean carpeted area for floor-seated performance.

- Style: Contemporary fusion mixing complex classical bols with Western or Bollywood beats.
- Format: Solo performance with backing tracks or live jamming alongside a DJ.
- Set List: Curated list of 8-10 songs (approx 45-60 minutes) covering hits like Calm Down or Jhoom.
Preparation & Visuals
- Coordination: Pre-event alignment on track selection and tempo (BPM) matching.
- Aesthetics: Indo-Western fusion look (Kurtis, Jeans, Silver Jewelry) to match Sangeet or Cocktail party vibes.
Technical Requirements
- Monitoring: A dedicated stage monitor facing the artist is mandatory to hear backing tracks clearly.
- Audio: Connection to the main DJ console.
- Mics: High-quality instrument microphones (clip-on or stand-mounted) are essential for capturing sound over loud music.
