About Pottery Classes and Workshops
Why Pottery, Why Here?
At Ihalo Studio, I find peace in clay. Pottery is less about perfect pots and more about slowing down, connecting, and letting hands do the thinking. I’ve set up my corner in Uttarahalli to be a chill space—lots of plants, sunlight, sometimes even a koel singing outside the window.
What Happens in Class
- Start with a lump of clay. Shape it with your hands or try the potter’s wheel.
- Make it yours - carve, stamp, or just doodle on it.
- Pieces dry slow, then get fired in my kiln two times—first for strength, then for that final glossy look.
- You won’t take home your piece the same day, but trust me, the wait is totally worth it.
Which Workshop Fits You?
- Just curious? My single-day hand-building clay workshops or mug-making sessions are beginner-friendly.
- Want a taste of everything? Try a combo class with both wheel and hand-building.
- Festive pottery workshops pop up for Diwali, Ganesha Chaturthi, and Christmas.
Courses for All Ages
- Multi-day hand-building or pottery wheel classes for beginners and up. Groups stay small, so you get loads of attention.
- Kids pottery camp Bangalore style—summer camps full of animal planters, nature-inspired stuff, and a lot of messy fun.
For Your Squad
- Private group pottery sessions for birthdays, team events, or family hangouts. No experience needed. Just bring your energy and maybe some old clothes—clay gets everywhere!
I keep it real—sometimes things flop, sometimes they come out better than you hoped. That’s the magic I want to share.

My Story
Hey, Ihalo Studio here. Pottery is my peace, my little escape. Nature’s everywhere in my work - leaves, textures, even the birds nesting in my studio (they really did!). Folks come in, get messy, and let their inner artist loose. I don’t take many custom orders, but once made a ramen bowl for a marriage proposal. That was something. My studio’s not just about clay, it’s about life happening all around.
