No fluff, just facts. I break down the science behind movement, recovery, and nutrition so you stop guessing and start training smart.

Let's talk about fascia. In this video, I explain what fascia is, the connective tissue that surrounds every muscle, and why it's so important for your movement and overall health.

Why is foam rolling essential? I explain that this is the one piece of equipment everyone should use regularly to perform self-scans, release tight tissues, and prevent future injuries. Don't let it gather dust.

How does foam rolling actually work? I break down the science of how it helps rehydrate your fascia and muscles after a tough workout, improving fluid flow and releasing tightness that can cause pain elsewhere.

My tips for training in North India's challenging humid weather. I cover the importance of hydration, electrolytes, proper breathing, and even changing your t-shirt to manage fatigue and keep your performance high.

Should you eat during a workout for weight loss? I explain why you should focus on performance, not calorie loss, during your session. Fueling your body properly leads to better results and a healthier metabolism in the long run.

How to breathe for strength training. I teach the bracing technique, where you use your breath to stabilize your core, protect your spine, and lift heavier weights safely and effectively. This is crucial for exercises like squats and deadlifts.

What is yoga? In this video for International Day of Yoga, I explain my philosophy that yoga is the fundamental connection of all things. Bringing consciousness to your movement and your life is the true practice of yoga.

About Coach's Corner: Fitness Gyan

People treat foam rolling like a chore, but it is actually a self-scan tool. If you feel pain while rolling, you aren't just 'tight'—you've got dehydrated fascia that’s pulling on your joints. Fix the tissue, stop the pain, and save yourself from future injury.

Why listen to me? Because I see people training hard for years and still getting injured. Education is the missing piece. Here is the framework I use for my students at Lodhi Garden and beyond.

The Science of Recovery

Think of fascia as the glue of your body. It connects everything from your head to your toes. If you ignore it, that tightness in your calf can lead to knee pain or shoulder issues. Do not let your roller gather dust in the corner. If you are training regularly, you need to use it. It is about rehydrating the tissue and allowing blood flow to return.

Breathing for Strength

You are not just holding your breath; you are bracing. Whether you are lifting 10kg or 100kg, mastering intra-abdominal pressure is your insurance against spinal injury. We practice this from the first warm-up set. If your core isn't stable, the lift is compromised.

Training in North India

Our weather is harsh. Humidity hits hard, and your heart rate goes haywire. I teach you how to manage electrolyte intake, why you should change your t-shirt every hour during long runs, and why you must fuel performance rather than just chasing calorie loss. When you treat yourself like an athlete, the weight loss happens as a byproduct of your performance gains, not the other way around.

My goal is simple: I want you to understand your body better than anyone else does. That is how you sustain progress, keep moving, and keep the picture moving forward. Picture abhi baaki hai.
