About Mind & Body: Yoga and Recovery
You cannot go 100 percent in the ring if you do not recover right. We use the natural quiet of the Manali forest for guided yoga flows and mobility work, ensuring your muscles get the release they need after our intense high-altitude hill sprints and pad work sessions.
In the boxing world, people often talk about the hit, but they forget the recovery. In our Manali camps, the 'Mind and Body' phase is just as critical as the boxing clinics. We don't believe in resting on a couch. We believe in active recovery.
Why We Focus on Recovery
When you are pushing for VO2 max improvements on mountain trails or drilling combinations for hours, your central nervous system takes a beating. If you don't stretch and decompress, you will burn out by day three. We take the group into the heart of the Van Vihar forest to ground ourselves. We hold our yoga sessions under the deodar trees, where the air is clean and the distractions are zero. This isn't just about flexibility; it is about learning to control your breathing under stress.
Our Recovery Methods
- Forest Yoga & Mobility: We focus on opening up the hips, shoulders, and lower back—areas that get tight from repetitive boxing motions.
- Vashisht Hot Springs: We organize trips to these natural sulfur springs. The water acts as a deep tissue relaxant, helping reduce inflammation after heavy conditioning days.
- Meditation: After the high-energy dance fitness and HIIT sessions, we bring the group back to earth with guided meditation. It helps you stay focused on the grind.
This is not a spa retreat. It is a performance camp. We teach you to treat your body like an athlete's body, even when you are off the clock.
