Most people come to my sessions looking for a secret diet trend or a magic pill. What they get instead is a dose of reality. In my podcasts and guest workshops, I tackle common fitness myths head-on, like why you don't need to obsess over expensive superfoods, but you absolutely do need a consistent, data-backed approach to your protein and carb management to see actual performance gains.
My workshops and podcast appearances—from my deep dive into nutrition myths on the 'Unstoppable' series to live running sessions with Brooks—focus on stripping away the industry noise. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all advice. Instead, I break down the specific, technical aspects of endurance that most generic advice misses.
I focus on three core pillars in these talks:
- Fueling the Engine: Understanding macro splits and why you shouldn't fear carbs. I explain how to time your nutrition to match your training zones, whether you are in Zone 2 or hitting Zone 5.
- Mental Toughness: Endurance isn't just physical. I discuss strategies to break past the mental barriers that cause you to bonk or quit during long races.
- The Science of Recovery: Your body needs specific nutrients and rest protocols to repair. I explain the 'why' behind recovery so you can make decisions that prevent injury and burnout.
I bring the same intensity to these public forums that I bring to my one-on-one coaching.
