Strength and Conditioning Training in Tilak Nagar
Real strength isn't about lifting heavy weights in a mirror. At MMA Tigers, we use bodyweight gymnastics and functional drills to build the engine you actually need. Whether you want to shed weight or gain explosive power, this is how we forge fighters.
This is my adult group class, fully engaged in a synchronized bodyweight conditioning drill. This exercise builds core strength, coordination, and endurance, proving that gymnastics-based fitness is for everyone.
Even my youngest tigers learn to build power. I am spotting a young child as he performs hanging leg raises, a fantastic exercise for developing the core and grip strength needed for bar work and other apparatus training.
Strength training for kids is about discipline and focus. This video shows my young students performing various conditioning drills, including holding a weight plate for shoulder stability and practicing balance holds on a beam.
A look at a high-energy cardio and strength session with my adult students. We incorporate dynamic movements and bodyweight exercises to build explosive power and athletic stamina on the training mats.
Discipline in action. A group of young students lies in formation on the mats, holding a core conditioning pose under my supervision during a class at the Tilak Nagar academy.
A group of my junior students in their karate uniforms performing a synchronized stretching exercise. This shows how the foundational strength and discipline from gymnastics carry over into other martial arts.
About Building Power: Strength & Conditioning
Real power comes from stability, not just isolated gym movements. In our sessions, we strip away the machinery and focus on functional conditioning using manila ropes, stability balls, and your own body weight. It is demanding work, but these movements—like our hanging core drills and plyometric jumps—build the explosive energy you need, whether you are stepping into a ring or just getting fit for daily life.
Building Real Power, Not Just Gym Looks
Most people go to a fitness center to look big. We train here to be functional. Whether you are a student, a working professional, or an aspiring fighter, the foundation of your performance is strength and conditioning. At our Tilak Nagar academy, we don't rely on machines that isolate muscles; we use drills that teach your body to move as a single, coordinated unit.
Our "No-Compromise" Method
Training with us is different. You will find manila ropes, stability balls, and 25mm EVA foam mats, but you won't find treadmill rows. Why? Because fighting and real-world movement happen on the floor.
- Functional Strength: We focus on grip, core stability, and explosive power. You will push, pull, and jump until your body learns to handle its own weight efficiently.
- Conditioning: This is where we burn fat and build endurance. We push intensity to improve your cardiovascular health, making you faster and more agile.
- Discipline: I don't sugarcoat the effort. If your form is weak, we fix it. If your mindset is lazy, we push through it.
What You Need To Know
- Who is this for? Everyone. We have separate batches for kids, teens, and adults to match the intensity to the age.
- Personal vs Group: Group classes are excellent for rhythm and peer motivation. Personal training is for when you have a specific goal, like passing a fitness test or hitting a performance plateau.
- The "No-Gym" Reality: We believe in calisthenics and bodyweight work. It is safer, more versatile, and produces lean, capable strength that stays with you longer than gym-gained bulk.
If you want to train for performance, show up. If you want a quick fix without sweat, this isn't the place.
