About Golden Age Yoga: Graceful & Gentle Practice
Our senior batches aren't about rushing into poses; they are about moving with intention and support. We use specialized props like sturdy metal chairs, blocks, and straps to ensure every movement feels safe and effective, even if you are managing joint stiffness or limited flexibility. It is a space where you can focus on your breath and mobility at a pace that actually feels good for your body.
Yoga is not just physical exercise; it is Swadhyay (self-study) and connection. In our Golden Age sessions at Andheri West, we prioritize longevity and joint health over advanced flexibility. We understand that bodies change with time, and our instruction adapts accordingly to protect your physical well-being.
Every session follows a mindful structure:
- Chair & Prop Support: We use yoga chairs for stability, ensuring you can perform stretches without putting undue pressure on knees or hips.
- Breathwork (Pranayama): We dedicate time to mindful breathing, which helps calm the nervous system, lower stress levels, and improve overall circulation.
- Guided Relaxation: Each class concludes with Savasana, providing a vital period of rest and mental rejuvenation.
