About Roasted Snacks (Ships Pan-India)
I do not use palm oil or refined flour in any of these. Instead, I rely on cold-pressed oils, dry roasting, and nutrient-dense bases like jowar, bajra, and sorghum. Whether you are craving the tang of spicy potato sticks or the crunch of methi mathri, everything is made in small batches to ensure it stays fresh till it reaches your doorstep, wherever you are in India.
People assume healthy snacks lose their crunch, but that is where the art of roasting comes in. I skip the industrial frying processes entirely. Every batch is roasted using cold-pressed oils or just dry heat, depending on the base.
Why swap to these snacks?
- No Hidden Nasties: Most commercial packets use palm oil, refined flour (maida), or preservatives to extend shelf life. You will not find those here.
- Ingredient Integrity: I use millets like Jowar, Bajra, and Amaranth. They are naturally gluten-free and keep you fuller for longer.
- Small Batch Freshness: I pack these in airtight jars or high-grade pouches. Because I make them in small quantities rather than mass-producing, the flavour profiles—like the tang in the beetroot chips or the herbal notes in the methi mathri—stay vibrant for the 30 to 45 days they are meant to be consumed.
How to choose
If you need something for the office drawer, my roasted millet chivda or jowar puffs are perfect. If you want something for your kids' tiffin, the beetroot chips or aloo lachha offer that familiar crispiness without the oily residue. Yes, these travel well across India. I make sure they are packed to handle the journey, so that maakehaathkakhana (food cooked by mother's hands) feeling reaches you in whatever city you are in.
