Music Teacher Training Programs
Go behind the scenes of our workshops where we transform the art of teaching music into a playful, connection-led experience for young children.
Our training emphasizes practical skills, like incorporating accessible instruments such as the ukulele. We guide you on how to use simple chords and melodies to accompany songs and stories in your classroom.
A key part of our training is curriculum design. Here, teachers are actively creating their own lesson plans, learning our simple framework for structuring sessions that are both educational and incredibly fun for young children.
Music can be found everywhere. In this activity, a trainee explores creating a 'jal tarang' with glasses of water, learning how to teach the concept of pitch using everyday objects in a creative, hands-on way.
We encourage exploring a mix of traditional and modern instruments. This session shows a trainee experimenting with an electronic drum pad, discovering new ways to introduce rhythm and beats to children.
About Our Teacher Training in Action
You won't find dry lectures in our training room. Our focus is entirely on practical, hands-on application, whether we are learning how to simplify complex Ragas into three-note nursery rhymes or figuring out how to turn household water glasses into a functional jal tarang. You will leave with a concrete lesson plan framework, not just abstract ideas, so you can walk into your classroom ready to lead a session from day one.
Teaching music to children requires a different kind of preparation than performing for adults. Our training program is designed to bridge the gap between technical expertise and the reality of a classroom full of energetic toddlers.
We focus on the teacher's toolkit, moving beyond traditional instruction. You will learn how to use accessible props like chiffon scarves for visual tracking, build group dynamics with parachute games, and integrate rhythm instruments like the djembe and shaker kits. Our approach is built on understanding the connection between swaras and child psychology. We teach you how to design a progressive 12-week term curriculum that keeps children engaged without pressure.
Whether you are a musician wanting to enter the teaching space or an educator looking to add a musical spark to your existing style, we provide the resources, including our proprietary books and lesson plans, to make that transition smooth and rewarding. We host both weekend intensives for foundational pedagogy and a comprehensive 4-week certification program that includes live internship hours. If you are ready to stop winging it and start leading structured, joyous music sessions, we would love to have you in our next batch in Mumbai or Pune.
