At 1.5 years old, music is all about play. My 'Nanhe Munne' workshop helps little ones build rhythm using mini-keyboards and simple, tactile methods that make learning feel like a game.

Our 'Nanhe Munne Music Workshop' in action. We welcome children as young as 1.5 years old to explore the piano and discover sounds in a playful, hands-on environment at our Virar West center.

Even a mobile phone can be a gateway to music. Here, a curious 2-year-old explores her first notes, learning 'Sa Re Ga' on a piano app. We use simple tools to spark an early interest in music.

Guiding little hands to create their first melody. This young student is learning the 'Sa Re Ga Ma' sargam, a foundational exercise in Indian classical music that we make accessible and fun for toddlers.

A little angel in our class, learning the basics of 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa'. We create a warm and welcoming space where even the shyest children feel comfortable to sing and learn.

We put a lot of effort into making our lessons understandable for absolute beginners and toddlers. This little one is carefully studying our handmade note charts before trying them on the keyboard.

A focused young learner during her piano session. We ensure our classroom environment is colorful and engaging to keep our youngest students interested and happy while they learn.

One finger, one note at a time. That's how the musical journey begins for our toddlers. This simple, one-on-one guidance helps build their confidence on the keyboard from day one.

Ditya, at just 5 years old, is already a quick learner. Here she is playing her first song on the piano. I am sure she will be singing and playing many more songs very soon.

Celebrating a special day with a special song. Our student Takshavi is learning to play 'Happy Birthday' on her mini keyboard. We love making music a part of every celebration.

A classic nursery rhyme sing-along session with our toddler batch. Singing 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' together helps children with their pitch, rhythm, and social skills.

About Our Youngest Musicians (Ages 1.5 - 5)

You might wonder how a 2-year-old actually learns piano. I skip the complex sheet music and write the notes directly on their hands. It sounds simple, but it removes the fear of the instrument. When kids aren't scared of the keys, they start playing melodies in their very first session.

My approach to teaching toddlers and young kids is built on one core belief: music shouldn't be stressful. In our 'Nanhe Munne' music workshops, we focus on tactile learning. Whether it is using mini-keyboards, percussion toys, or simply singing nursery rhymes with actions, the goal is to get them comfortable with sound and rhythm.

We don't do boring theory here. I use my signature 'ABCD' notation system and visual aids to help children recognize keys without needing to read complex music charts. For the youngest ones, from 1.5 to 3 years, I encourage parents to join in. Your support creates a safe environment where they feel confident to make mistakes and try again. As they progress to our junior batches (ages 4+), we introduce basic sargam and popular Bollywood songs, helping them transition from play to performance.

We have centers across Mumbai including Kandivali, Malad, Borivali, and Virar. If you are looking for a place where your child won't just learn notes but will actually fall in love with the process, you are in the right place.

I’m Nitesh, and my approach is simple: I treat every student like my own kid. I don’t believe in shiny certificates or just pushing students through a curriculum. I want to see them actually enjoy the rhythm and find their own music.
