Kids' Martial Arts and Fitness Classes
We ditch the screen time for real movement. Our kids' classes mix BJJ, kickboxing, and agility games to help children build coordination, confidence, and discipline in a high-energy environment.
A look into our warm-up drills. We use fun, challenging games with cones and bodyweight exercises to get the kids moving, improve their agility, and get them ready to learn.
It's not all serious faces here. We build foundational strength and flexibility through exercises that feel more like play. I enjoy watching these classes more than anything.
A typical class scene. Kids are learning, resting, and getting ready for the next drill. It's all about consistent effort, listening to your coaches, and having a good time.
About More Than Fighting: Fun, Fitness & Games
It is not just about throwing punches or learning how to kick. We focus heavily on movement patterns, break-falls, and coordination through games that keep the kids fully engaged. Whether your child is naturally shy or looking to burn off extra energy, this class gives them a safe space to get comfortable with their body and learn how to handle themselves without relying on brute strength.
We are not a traditional 'McDojo' where kids just shout in unison. On our mats, we actually roll, learn how to fall correctly, and understand distance. The curriculum covers everything from safe falling techniques—essential for any sport—to the fundamentals of boxing and kickboxing stances.
We know parents want their children to be bullyproof. Instead of just talking about safety, we teach practical grappling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. We use leverage so a smaller kid can control a bigger opponent, which is often the most effective way to handle situations at school.
Classes run from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. We keep it consistent. Whether you are looking for a drop-in session to see if your child likes the vibe or you want to commit to a quarterly plan that allows them to progress through our stripe and belt assessments, we have a spot open. Beyond the technique, this is a crew. The kids learn to look out for one another, and they genuinely make friends here. It is work, but it is also a place to have a blast.
