Pricing Guide
2.5-Hour Introductory Pottery Session
Session Breakdown
- Total Duration: 2.5 hours guided session.
- Techniques: Professional electric wheel usage and hand-building basics (pinching, coiling).
- Output: Participants shape 2-3 raw forms during the class.
Materials Included
- Clay: Unlimited access to stoneware/earthenware clay for the session.
- Gear: Use of professional tools (wire cutters, ribs, sponges) and fresh aprons.
Post-Processing
- Selection: Includes finishing services for one selected masterpiece.
- Firing: Staff handles drying, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing.
- Timeline: Finished ceramic piece ready for collection in approximately 3 weeks.
Foundation Course: 9 Sessions (6-Month Validity)
Course Structure
- Volume: 9 distinct sessions of approx 2 hours each.
- Curriculum: Covers wedging, centering, cylinder construction, trimming, and glazing techniques.
- Flexibility: 6-month validity period allows pausing and resuming based on personal schedule.
Resources & Access
- Station: Dedicated electric wheel station during booked slots.
- Materials: Approx 10kg to 15kg clay allowance throughout the course.
- Firing: Includes firing and glazing costs for a specific quota (typically 6-8 pieces).
- Storage: Shelf space provided for keeping work-in-progress pieces damp between sessions.
Kids Pottery Camp (5-Day Module)
Format & Supervision
- Schedule: 5 consecutive days (Monday to Friday).
- Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours per daily session.
- Ratio: High instructor-to-child ratio (approx 1:5) for safety and guidance.
Activity Details
- Methodology: Theme-based projects (e.g., stories, animals) rather than aimless play.
- Techniques: Primarily hand-building (coil, slab, pinch) with non-toxic clay.
- Finishing: Use of underglazes for immediate decoration.
- Output: Firing of all viable creations (typically 3-5 pieces) to be food-safe and permanent.

What You Can Try
- Our beginner pottery taster session for adults is perfect if you just want to dip your toes in. You’ll get a shot at the wheel, make a bowl or cylinder, and walk away with clay on your hands and a smile.
- For those who want more, the foundation course covers basics over nine classes. It’s flexible - you can spread sessions over six months, so no stress about missing a class.
- Special workshops pop up around festivals and events. From Diwali tea-light holders to Valentine’s Day mugs, it’s all about creative clay workshops and good vibes. Some workshops get pretty social - masti (fun) here is for real.
Kids & Families
- Kids pottery summer camp gets little ones off their screens, working on patience and focus.
- We host pottery birthday party ideas and playdates - honestly, kids love it and parents get a break.

My Story
Hey, we’re The Clay Company. Started out just wanting folks to slow down, get their hands messy, and find a bit of calm. Pottery here isn’t just art, it’s kinda like therapy. You walk in, you laugh, maybe struggle with a wobbly pot, but leave with happy hearts. Delhi, Gurgaon – our little clay community’s open to everyone. Kids, couples, teams, whoever. Messy hands, happy hearts – that’s us.
