About A Look Inside Our Studio
We have designed our spaces with a specific flow in mind. In Nehru Place, you will find our wheels on the ground floor with a cozy mezzanine for hand-building, while our Gurgaon studio offers a relaxed, open-plan setup. Whether you are coming for a quick taster session or settling in for a foundation course, you will find all the tools, aprons, and clay you need waiting right at your station.
At The Clay Company, we believe the right environment makes all the difference when you are learning something new. That is why our studio setup is intentionally warm and unpretentious.
The Nehru Place Experience
Tucked away in the Osian Building, this studio is where we started. It is a multi-level space that feels like a quiet sanctuary right in the middle of a busy hub. The ground floor houses our electric wheels, and the mezzanine level offers a quieter, more focused spot for hand-building projects. It is perfect if you like a bit of energy but also appreciate a dedicated space to concentrate.
The Gurgaon Studio
Located in Sector 27, our Gurgaon space is built for connection. It is an open, airy studio where conversations flow as easily as the clay moves on the wheel. This is where we host our larger group events and community workshops. You will see shelves stocked with greenware (that is the raw, unfired clay) and finished pieces, showing the journey from a simple lump to a work of art.
What to expect when you arrive
We keep things simple. You do not need to bring anything other than yourself. We provide the tools, the aprons, and the materials. When you walk in, you are not just walking into a classroom; you are entering a space designed to help you hit pause. Whether you are here for a 2.5-hour introductory session or our 9-session foundation course, the environment is geared toward making you feel at home, even if it is your first time touching clay.
