Canvas Painting & Sip Workshop

The Painting Kit

Surface: 1x Pre-primed Cotton Canvas Board or Stretched Canvas (typically 10x12 or 12x16 inches).
Paints: Unlimited use of student-grade Acrylic Paints (approx. 5-7 palette colors).
Tools: Loaned set of synthetic brushes (Flat, Round, Detailer), tabletop easel, mixing palette, and apron.

Food & Beverage

Partner Venues: Includes a redeemable cover charge (typically INR 250 - 500) valid for food and drinks from the venue menu.
Studio (M3M Urbana): Includes complimentary light refreshments (coffee/tea/cookies) or BYOB option.

The Experience

Guidance: 2 Hours of step-by-step instruction by the lead artist designed for beginners.
Takeaway: You keep the finished painting (packaging provided).

Texture/Foil Art: 1x Canvas Board (12x16 inches) with modeling paste and imitation gold/silver leaf.

Specialty Materials

Fabric Colors: Wash-permanent paints for Totes.
Enamel/Acrylic Gloss: Durable paints for Mugs/Glass.
Texture Kit: Adhesives, modeling paste, and varnish for Texture/Foil art.

Instruction: Technical guidance on handling specific mediums (palette knives, gold leaf application).

Kids Creative Art Workshop (Ages 5-9)

Art Kit

Surface: 1x Small Canvas Board (8x10 or 10x12 inches) OR Air-dry Clay portion (approx 200-300g).
Materials: Non-toxic, child-safe Acrylic paints, sketch pens, or sculpting tools.
Protective Gear: 1x Child-sized Apron.

Session Details

Duration: 60 - 90 Minutes (tailored for shorter attention spans).
Themes: Cartoons, Animals, Nature, or Messy Play.
Guidance: Hands-on assistance focusing on motor skills rather than technical perfection.

Venue Extras

Studio: Includes juice/cookies.

Why I Started This

I’m Ciya, a mom who finally followed her dream and opened Soaked in Canvas. For me, these public art workshops are about pausing the daily rush, meeting new people, and getting a little messy with paint. It’s not about being perfect - it’s about enjoying the moment.

What Happens Here

Every session is relaxed, social, and full of music and laughter. No art experience? Bilkul tension mat lo (don’t worry at all) - most folks here are total beginners.
I guide you through step-by-step, so you won’t feel lost.
It’s a great plan for a date, hanging out with friends, or even coming solo if you want a creative break.

Types of Workshops

Classic Canvas Painting: Landscapes, pop art, festive themes - always changing. Our themed canvas painting workshop is a big hit.
Wearable & Usable Art: Paint on tote bags, mugs, or glasses, and take home something unique.
Textured Techniques: Try knife painting or gold foil for something different.
Mindful Art: Mandala art, clay sessions (including special parent-child clay dates).
Quick Sessions: Fluid art, watercolor bookmarks, quirky fridge magnets.

The Details

All art supplies included, just bring yourself.
You keep whatever you make.
Many workshops happen in Delhi NCR cafes and hubs (Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, Delhi).
Our cozy studio is at M3M Urbana, Gurgaon. Most workshops last about 2 hours.
At cafes, food and drinks are sorted; at my studio, BYO snacks if you like.

Hey, I’m Ciya, the face behind Soaked in Canvas. Delhi mom, dreamer, and now studio owner in Gurgaon – wild, right? Started with messy tables, late nights, and a bunch of doubts, but here we are. My studio’s got cozy corners and painted doors, all about chilling out, painting florals, and just letting go. Art’s my therapy, not about being perfect.
