About Our Happy Students
It is not just about the final pot—it is about the process. Whether you are learning to wedge clay for the first time or finding your rhythm on the wheel, you will find that our sessions are as much about the conversations and laughter as they are about the craft.
We built The Clay Company to be more than just a studio. When you walk into our Nehru Place or Gurgaon space, you are not just another student—you are part of a community. Many of our regulars started exactly where you are: curious, maybe a little nervous, and looking for a way to unplug. Our beginner taster sessions are designed to get you comfortable with the wheel immediately. You will learn how to center the clay, pull up the walls, and trim your piece, all with our instructors right by your side. If you prefer hand-building, you will dive into pinching and coiling techniques that let you create unique forms at your own pace.
Why do people keep coming back? For many, it is the therapeutic nature of clay. There is something grounding about having mud on your hands and turning your focus inward for a few hours. Plus, it is a great social setting. We see couples on dates, friends catching up, and people coming solo to make new connections. Everything you need—clay, tools, aprons—is provided.
