Pottery Classes and Creative Workshops
Whether you want to learn wheel throwing or just need a calm space to unwind, our studio is open. Come get your hands messy and create something beautiful with us.
This is your sign to join a pottery class. There is something truly magical about shaping clay on a spinning wheel, and I want you to experience that calm and creativity for yourself.
This is what it's all about: clay, good company, and a whole lot of laughter. Our hand-building sessions are the perfect way to unwind and connect with friends, new and old.
I often get asked about the best way to really learn pottery. Our foundation course is my answer. It's nine flexible classes that you can take over six months, making it easy to fit into any schedule. I promise you'll have a great time.
Look at the focus on this little artist's face. Our kids' sessions are all about giving children a chance to get their hands messy, build patience, and create something they can be proud of.
Don't just take my word for it. Listen to what one of our wonderful students has to say about her experience in the foundation course. It's moments like these that make me love what I do.
The pure joy of holding something you made with your own two hands. In our taster sessions, you don't just learn a skill, you create a memory and a beautiful piece to take home.
In a world that's always rushing, the potter's wheel is a place to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. Come find your moment of peace in the clay.
About Featured
If you are worried about fitting a new hobby into a busy schedule, our nine-session foundation course is designed for you. You have six months to complete these classes, so you can pause, resume, and learn at your own pace without the pressure of missing a session.
Pottery is more than just making bowls and mugs. For many who join us at The Clay Company, it is a way to hit pause on a busy week. You do not need any artistic background to start.
Where to start?
If you are curious but not sure if you want to commit, our 2.5-hour introductory taster session is the best place to begin. You will get to use the professional electric wheel and try hand-building techniques like pinching and coiling. By the end of the session, you shape a few forms, and we handle the glazing and firing for your favorite piece.
Ready for more?
Our foundation course is for those who want to understand the craft deeply. You get nine sessions that cover everything from wedging and centering on the wheel to trimming and glazing. Because life gets busy, we offer a six-month validity on these nine classes. You can book your slot, come in, and if you have a busy month at work, simply pick up where you left off later.
The Studio Experience
We operate out of Nehru Place in Delhi and Sector 27 in Gurgaon. Our space is intentionally kept informal. You will find teachers who are there to guide you, not grade you. Whether you are coming alone to find a moment of peace, or bringing a friend to share some laughter, the goal is the same: you walk out with clay on your hands and a lighter head.
The Clay Company
I am Aparna, and I started this company because I believe we all need a reason to slow down. Pottery is my way of hitting reset, and I created this space for you to do the same, whether you are a complete beginner or looking for a creative outlet.
