About My Story: From MBA to Pastry Chef
Running a home bakery in Airoli isn't just about mixing ingredients. Since I bake everything from scratch in small batches, please give me a heads-up of at least 48 hours for your orders. It helps me manage the dough proofing and freshness exactly how I want them to reach you.
My journey from a commerce student to a pastry chef wasn't a straight line. After finishing my MBA, I realized my true passion lay in the kitchen, not in a boardroom. Since 2019, I have been operating The Bake House Mumbai from my home in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. It has been five years of learning, unlearning, and late nights, but every satisfied client makes the exhaustion worth it.
My approach is simple: I make everything fresh to order. My menu focuses on premium eggless bakes, ranging from gooey couverture brownies to my popular Korean cream cheese buns. Whether it is a batch of brioche doughnuts or a custom cake, I treat every order as if it were for my own family. I often experiment with Indian flavours, like my Rose Milk Tres Leches or Ragi Chocolate tea cakes, to bridge the gap between traditional cravings and modern pastry techniques.
I believe in keeping things transparent. I don't use compound chocolate, only real couverture. I make my own mawa for fusion treats. If a recipe contains eggs, I tell you. If I use jaggery instead of sugar, you will know. My kitchen is small, personal, and strictly focused on quality over mass production. If you are looking for treats that feel like they were made by a friend who loves baking, you have come to the right place.
